Acceptable Use Policy
Effective March 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the rules that apply to all users of Market Express services. By using Market Express, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension, termination, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
Permitted Uses
- ✓Purchasing products listed on the platform for personal, business, or authorized government use
- ✓Managing your account, orders, and account settings
- ✓Communicating with vendors and Market Express support through provided channels
- ✓Uploading required onboarding documents through the secure document portal
- ✓Using the API with your issued credentials within documented rate limits
Prohibited Conduct
Fraudulent or deceptive activity
Creating false accounts, submitting fraudulent orders, impersonating others, or misrepresenting your identity or organization.
Unauthorized access
Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data that you are not authorized to access. This includes password guessing, credential stuffing, and exploitation of vulnerabilities.
Automated scraping or data harvesting
Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract product data, pricing, or user information without written consent from Market Express.
Interference with platform operations
Sending denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated requests, or any actions that degrade platform performance for other users.
Transmission of harmful code
Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, ransomware, or any code intended to damage systems or data.
Circumventing security controls
Bypassing authentication, rate limiting, geo-restrictions, or any other technical or administrative security measures.
Illegal transactions
Using the platform to purchase, sell, or facilitate transactions involving illegal goods, export-controlled items without authorization, or items subject to trade sanctions.
Spam or unsolicited communications
Using Market Express messaging tools to send unsolicited bulk communications, marketing messages, or phishing attempts.
Misuse of vendor tools
Vendors may not create duplicate listings, manipulate reviews, artificially inflate metrics, or abuse the platform fee or commission structure.
Government Channel — Additional Restrictions
- ✓Do not transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) through the platform
- ✓Do not use the platform to procure ITAR-controlled or export-restricted items
- ✓Agency account credentials may not be shared with non-authorized personnel
- ✓Procurement transactions must comply with applicable FAR and agency supplement provisions
- ✓Report suspected misuse to your agency IT security officer and security@marketexpres.us
Enforcement
Market Express reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Upon finding a violation, Market Express may, in its sole discretion:
- •Issue a warning and require immediate corrective action
- •Suspend or terminate the account
- •Remove content or cancel orders
- •Report the activity to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- •Seek injunctive relief or other legal remedies
