The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) requires that products sold to the U.S. government must be manufactured in or substantially transformed in a TAA-designated country. Market Express will verify country of origin for all products sold on the Government Portal. This capability is in development.

- Country-of-origin attestation is collected from vendors at onboarding
- Per-product TAA status will be shown on product pages once vendor attestations are verified
- Catalog-wide TAA filtering is in development and is not yet available

Section 889 — NDAA Prohibited Equipment
NDAA FY2019 §889 · FAR 52.204-24, 52.204-25
Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act prohibits federal agencies from procuring or using telecommunications equipment or services from the following entities or their subsidiaries and affiliates:

- ZTE Corporation
- Hytera Communications Corporation
- Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology
- Dahua Technology Company
- BGIT (affiliates of the above)
Market Express §889 Compliance Statement
Market Express will require every vendor to certify Section 889 compliance at onboarding and annually thereafter. This process is being implemented and is not yet operating. Until it is, no representation is made that the catalog is free of covered equipment.
